On February 15, Heather and Jennifer had the honor of speaking with the Newport Kiwanis Club at their monthly meeting. This fantastic group of men and women’s main purpose is to serve the needs of children. You could tell from the energy in the room that the member of Kiwanis were interested in the plight of our homeless children in this county. Many excellent questions were asked and answered during the course of the presentation. Several (if not all!) members are part of other organizations and offer their service through these organizations. The Hope House of Cocke County is so excited to partner with the Newport Kiwanis Club to meet the needs of homeless children.
We would like to urge you to consider supporting the Kiwanis and the Hope House. We serve many of the same communities and volunteer opportunities are endless!
